The scholarship
There is one Lu Memorial Scholarship and three ways into it: high school, undergraduate, and graduate.
Every recipient receives $5,000. We fund five students from each application form per selection round.

Three ways in
The scholarship is the same amount and the same review in all three. What differs is the form you fill in and the school records you already hold.
- High school students, applying while still in school.
- Undergraduate students, already enrolled in a degree.
- Graduate students, enrolled or holding an offer of admission.
The two application forms
There are two application forms. High school students use one. Undergraduate and graduate applicants share the other.

What the application asks for
You tell us about your household and your circumstances, you set out your plan and your costs for one year, and you write four short responses. You send a transcript you already have, and one adult who knows your situation answers a short form about you.
How we read an application sets out what we look for and in what order. What we ask, and why goes question by question and says who reads each answer. Your plan and costs shows the one-year arithmetic before you start it.
