Volunteer with us
Volunteering is open to former recipients and to the families of current recipients.
The foundation is small and so is its volunteer program. It exists because people who have received this scholarship are the ones who can tell an applicant what it is actually like to apply for it.
Who can volunteer
You are eligible if you are a former Lu Scholar, or a family member of a current one. There are also circumstances that make you ineligible, most of them about conflicts of interest, and they are set out in full on who can volunteer. Read that page before you write to us. It is short, and it will answer the question faster than we can.
What volunteers do
Volunteers speak with students who are considering applying, and answer questions about what the application asks for.
What is open varies by year, and we would rather tell you what is actually open than publish a list of roles we are not filling. Write to us and we will answer with the current one.
