By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the site. We may change these terms, and the reviewed date at the foot of this page tells you when we last did. Using the site after a change means you accept the changed terms.
What is on this site
The pages here describe the Lu Memorial Scholarship and how to apply for it. We try to keep every date, amount, and requirement accurate, and we say on each page when it was last reviewed. We do not warrant that the site is free of errors. Where this site and the application portal disagree about a requirement, the requirement in the portal governs the application, and we would like to know about the disagreement: scholarship@lu-memorial.org.
Nothing on this site is an offer of an award. An award is made only by a written decision sent to you.
Using the material here
You may read, print, and share these pages for your own use, and counselors and teachers may copy them for students. You may not republish them commercially or present them as your own. The foundation’s name and mark belong to the foundation. Permissions are on the copyright page.
Your account is in the application portal
This website has no accounts and no log-in. Your application account lives in the portal at apply.goalgetit.org, which is operated by Goal Get It! on our behalf and carries its own terms. Keep your portal password to yourself; anything done with it is treated as done by you.
What you send us
Send us only what is yours to send, and only what is true. Do not send us material that infringes someone else’s rights, threatens or harasses anyone, or breaks the law. The application ends with a certification that what you have written is true. What you send us is handled under our privacy policy.
Sites we link to
We link to sites we do not run, including the application portal, the embedded forms, and the pages of other organisations. We do not review or endorse what is on them, and these terms do not apply to them.
Liability
This site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be available without interruption or free of faults. To the extent the law allows, the foundation is not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or from your reliance on anything in it.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them belongs in the state or federal courts in San Francisco, California.
