Transcripts (high school)
Send the transcript you already have. An unofficial copy is fine, and you may translate it yourself.
What to send
One record of your high school work. Upload it yourself with the rest of your application.
- Your high school transcript, showing the courses you have taken and your results so far.
- Any college, university, or online courses that do not appear on that transcript. A printout or a screenshot of the result is enough.
- If you are in an international curriculum, such as A-Levels, the IB Diploma, or a national curriculum, send the results you have. Add predicted results if your school issues them.
If you are homeschooled, read Homeschooled applicants. It explains what to send in place of a school transcript.
Unofficial copies are accepted
A scan, a photograph, or a PDF from your school portal all count. It does not need a seal, a signature, a stamp, or an envelope.
We ask for an official transcript only if you are selected. At that point your school sends it directly, with your graduation date on it. Nobody has to chase your school while you are applying.
You may translate it yourself
If your transcript is not in English, send the original and a translation. You, a family member, or your school may do the translation. It does not need a notary or a paid translation service.
Put the original and the translation in the same file where you can, and keep the course names in the order the original uses.
What not to upload
We do not read test scores, honors or awards lists, resumes, portfolios and work samples.
Uploading them does not help and does not count against you. The transcript tells us what we need to know about your school work.
Nothing is required from your school
Your counselor does not fill anything in. There is no counselor form and no school form of any kind, so nobody at your school has to submit a document about you or describe the courses it offers.
A counselor may recommend you, like any other adult who knows you. That is voluntary and it is the only thing a counselor can do here.
If your school sends the transcript for you
You do not need this for the first reading. If your school will only release records itself, it can email them to credentials@goalgetit.org. Ask your school to include your full legal name and the name of the school.
Documents sent by a school take time to process. Check your application status in the portal rather than emailing to ask, and see After you apply.
If you cannot get a transcript at all
Write to scholarship@lu-memorial.org before April 1, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific and tell us what happened. A missing record is not a reason to skip the application.
